The Most Beautiful Bird in the World!

Our "Epic Bird Quest" was completed with great success when everyone in the family was able to see the Resplendent Quetzal! This was definitely the highlight of the entire trip--we saw both a male and female in the same tree! I would definitely like to return to this place to observe them again someday! What a way to close out a truly epic nature adventure! This was the bird my dad and I came to Costa Rica to see, and was the bird I observed for the first time on my birthday.
